Circuit Ricardo Tormo<\/strong> has been awarded by the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale de l’Automobile<\/strong> with the trophy that, every year and worldwide, recognises the best team of officials<\/strong> for their dedication, passion and performance during the 2024 season.<\/p>\n

By delegation of the FIA, the accreditation trophy was presented recently, coinciding with the visit of the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour<\/strong> to the Valencia venue, by Manuel Avi\u00f1\u00f3, President of the Spanish federation and FIA Vice-President for Motorsport in Europe<\/strong>, in a ceremony at the starting grid of the Circuit where, in the presence of General Manager Nicol\u00e1s Collado. Gabriel Berruga, as sporting director of the Ricardo Tormo Circuit and top representative of the officials’ collective, collected the award.<\/p>\n

The FIA highlighted, among the arguments that motivated the decision to grant the award, the excellent work carried out for more than two decades, years in which Circuit Ricardo Tormo<\/strong> has hosted numerous top-level national and international competitions. The International Federation highlights its performance in the successful FIA Motorsport Games held in the Valencian Community during the last days of last October.<\/p>\n

The General Director of the Circuit, Nicol\u00e1s Collado<\/strong>, expressed that he was \u201cvery grateful for the recognition of the group of officials and marshals. It is a well-deserved award because they are a great team, without whom the Circuit would not be able to carry out most of its activities. The marshals perform a tough job with passion<\/strong>. They are often the first to arrive and almost the last to leave, and their work is truly worthy of praise.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom the Royal Spanish Automobile Federation, we couldn\u2019t be prouder that the Circuit Ricardo Tormo\u2014more specifically, its group of officials\u2014has been recognized with the highest distinction in this area of our sport by the FIA. It is a truly well-deserved award, not only for its more than twenty-five years of successful history but also for the outstanding management of a top-tier and highly complex event like the recent FIA Motorsport Games<\/strong>,\u201d said an emotional Manuel Avi\u00f1\u00f3<\/strong> shortly after presenting the trophy on the main straight of the Circuit.<\/p>\n

Any motorsport enthusiast can become part of the group of marshals. They simply need to find out about the procedure to obtain a license from their regional federation. Once obtained, they must register in the Circuit’s marshals database and begin attending the various events organized in Cheste<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
